My Father named me after her. I was born during her happiest of times, married Joe DeMaggio. I was a fan before I knew all of this. Her radiance is spectacular. For those of us who have suffered what seems a pittance of what she went through, she is a barometer that keeps us in check. We strive to be better. We gain courage learning from her struggles. We adore her intricate simplicity. Her movies make us smile and for me a renewing of myself each time stresses are overbearing. Her journey to find herself was that she was found, she was whole and complete. We all knew that. If she did or did not reach this goal, we will be there for her, to validate her endlessly.
